My wife is in the next room watching a documentary about the distribution of wealth in the United States and I’m sitting here listening, getting more and more furious about the lack of compassion, and the basic greed disguised as politics that a very powerful, yet nearly microscopic percentage of Americans display.

  1. I would love to see that documentary, but I know I’d get so fumed over it my b/p would go through the roof! Between the 1%, and the lack of compassion (i.e., cutting food stamps out of the farm bill), and now this Syria thing — well let’s just say I’m pretty fed up with everything. So much so that I have a hard time even reading the news on the internet, let alone watching it on TV. It just makes me furious, but mostly sad. I’ll be gone before everything that’s happening now actually comes to fruition, but I worry about you and the kids and what’s going to happen in the future. Hopefully people will finally see the light and things will change.
